POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for someone who can establish asset maintenance priorities for all the buildings that will be under its supervision. The Asset Maintenance Manager will be responsible for planning capital investment budgets (annual and five-year) while supervising a team of project managers for their successful implementation. You will be responsible for the completion of the projects assigned to you in their entirety and you will act as internal technical support.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carry out work monitoring and the necessary administrative follow-ups, often within a limited timeframe
- Collaborate with other department managers to establish operational priorities for the buildings under management
- Communicate with subcontractors, analyze bids and present your recommendations
- Negotiate and ensure the preparation of contractual documents with contractors
- Oversee the planning, design and construction of asset maintenance projects with the collaboration of existing teams in the properties, including coordination with subcontractors, engineers and architects
- Plan and implement annual and five-year budgets for asset maintenance investments and ensure management of the resources required to carry out projects
- Plan, direct and monitor the implementation of simple or complex projects, from preliminary studies to final delivery for the proper maintenance of real estate assets under his supervision
- Provide outstanding customer service at all levels
- Provide technical support to building operators
- Provide your recommendations on the solutions to be applied and ensure follow-up
- Supervise and supervise the project managers in his team
- Hold a degree in engineering, architecture, environmental design or equivalent relevant experience
- Knowledge of building code
