POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a dynamic and professional leasing agent to join our team in Laval. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting available properties, guiding prospective tenants through the rental process, and providing a high-quality customer experience. ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carry out housing inspections upon tenant departure
- Collaborating with the property management team
- Conduct visits to the available units
- Coordinate arrivals and departures of tenants
- Coordinate lease assignments as well as internal transfers
- Create physical files and enter data into the internal management system (Hopem)
- Ensuring an excellent customer experience before, during and after the rental
- Greet customers and respond to information requests (in person, by phone and by email)
- Hand over keys and access chips when new tenants arrive
- Issue rental activity reports and proceed with renewal requests, if necessary
- Manage the schedule of tenant meetings and elevator reservations
- Perform business development and develop new marketing strategies with management approval
- Prepare and have the required leases and documents signed
- Presenting the buildings, services and benefits offered
- Qualify prospective tenants and monitor their applications
- Respond to current customers on pricing and lease terms
- Update tracking tools (CRM or other internal platforms)
- Interact with clients, suppliers and residents
- Perform other related duties
- Produce required reports
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Rent out vacant apartments in the building
- Good knowledge of the Hopem management system (an asset)
- Good knowledge of the sector
- Minimum experience in a rental agent position
