This role is designed to be part of the Global Functions (Finance, HR, Procurement, Legal, GTS, Communication & Marketing) CoE organization at BRP. This group consists of functional and technical experts across multiple application portfolios. Who will provide support and continuous improvement and project delivery to enable the organization to maximize the investments in its new and existing solutions and achieve its goals and future growth objectives. YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Elicits, analyzes, and documents the business objectives (the “Why”), business requirements (the "What"), solution (functional and non-functional) and transition requirements (detailed requirements, the “How”). This will define the scope of the initiative and its key features.
Manages requirements: prioritizes, categorizes, maintains, traces them until the solution “go-live”.
Is the link between the business stakeholders and the initiative team (architects, development team, etc.) in regards of the scope and key features.
Facilitates collaboration, shares information, organizes and leads workshops related to the scope of the initiative.
Contributes to program/project planning activities.
Understands the solution architecture, existing & target, reviews Solution Architecture Document.
Understands business processes, existing & target.
Ensures the solutions (business, high level solutions, system specifications) satisfy the requirements and key features.
Identifies, manages and addresses the gaps between the requirements and solution being delivered until they are resolved.
Supports the IS testing / integration test scenarios definition and supports the team during their execution.
Documents the UAT test strategy, actively assists the business in the definition of UAT scenarios, and supports the business during the execution of UAT.
Contributes to the change management strategy, planning activities, risk assessment of the projects.
Contributes to the business handover and post-implementation support (operationalization).
Assist in documenting the various PMO processes with regards to Finance applications management.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other relevant subject areas.
5+ years' experience in a Business analyst role and full life-cycle application implementation.
You have a deep level of understanding of Finance ( and experience in managing Treasury, Accounting and Procurement specific functionalities).
Very strong understanding, procurements, customs activities.
Experience working with third-party applications integration.
Understanding of security, compliance and GDPR is an asset.
Understanding of IS&T operational processes is an asset.
Business knowledge and process design skills in a manufacturing industry is an asset.
Strong problem-solving skills, a positive demeanor and a go getter attitude.
Strong communication / interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with multiple levels of IT and business management.
Strong organizational skills as well as strong analytical problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge of Ariba, SAP GTS, management systems/solutions is an asset.
You’re able to work in French and English (written and oral).
