We are partnering with a large, well-established Québec-based organization that has been thriving for several decades in the field of technical and engineering services supporting industrial operations.
Its IT team is currently undergoing a major restructuring phase, driven by a visionary technology leadership and a strategic project roadmap.

The company is seeking a versatile and team-oriented IT Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of strategic initiatives spanning both infrastructure and software development projects.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of IT projects (infrastructure, telephony, modernization, corporate development)

  • Develop detailed project plans including resources, timelines, risks, and budgets

  • Coordinate effectively between IT teams and business units, fostering clear and proactive communication

  • Support the implementation of project management structures and best practices within the IT department

  • Oversee transitions between development and operations teams to ensure solution stability and continuity

  • Provide clear, regular progress reports to senior management

  • Manage project budgets (hardware, software, consulting services, internal efforts) and optimize resource utilization

Profile

  • Minimum of 4 to 7 years of experience in a similar role

  • Strong command of project management practices (planning, risk, budget, communication)

  • Comfortable managing both infrastructure and software development projects

  • Knowledge of project management tools (Excel, MS Project, add-ons, internal templates already in place)

  • Team-oriented mindset, rigor, strong leadership, and effective communication skills

  • Fluent in French, functional English (for interactions with some external partners)

Employment Details

  • Permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours per week)

  • Hybrid model: 3 days per week at the office in Québec City (near the Centre des foires)

  • Salary between $90,000 and $120,000 plus an annual bonus of approximately 10%
