Description
Permanent Position – Hybrid – Québec or Montréal
We are partnering with a major Québec-based organization undertaking a full modernization of its technologies and business processes. With more than 3,500 project days planned over the next three years, we are seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst capable of playing a central role in this digital transformation.
Your Role
You will oversee a diverse and impactful portfolio of technology initiatives. In this hybrid position, you will combine:

Business analysis (processes, requirements, specifications, scenarios, user stories)

IT project management (planning, governance, coordination, tracking)

Process optimization and change support
-
Direct contribution to technology modernization and system harmonization
You will work closely with operations, IT, finance, and continuous improvement teams, while benefiting from substantial autonomy to structure practices and deliver results.
Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements
-
Map business processes (BPMN) and identify actionable improvements

Prepare specifications, requirements documents, use-case scenarios, and cost-benefit analyses

Plan and execute IT projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies

Coordinate internal and external stakeholders
-
Support the implementation of a project management office (PMO) and governance practices
-
Contribute to major initiatives: application modernization, systems integration, data/BI, workflow optimization, financial or HR-related projects
Profile
-
7+ years of experience in IT business analysis and/or technology project management
-
Proven ability to deliver in complex, fast-evolving environments
-
Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
-
Ability to operate comfortably at both macro and micro levels (technical detail + big picture)

Experience working in multi-system environments

Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, Jira, Lucidchart, BPMN, SharePoint, DevOps, SQL (an asset)

French required, with functional English to interact with teams in Western Canada
