Director, IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity – Digital Transformation

We are representing a well-established Quebec-based company with operations across Canada and the United States. With over 3,000 employees and more than 120 sites, the organization is undergoing a major digital transformation and is investing heavily in its IT infrastructure and cybersecurity capabilities.

To support this strategic shift, the company is seeking a Director of IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity to lead the evolution of its technology landscape, ensure IT resilience, and protect all critical digital assets.

IT Infrastructure

• Define and implement an IT infrastructure strategy aligned with business goals

• Oversee critical environments: servers, storage, networks, IP telephony, and cloud computing

• Lead large-scale technology transformation projects (cloud, resilience, modernization)

• Ensure business continuity and implement strong disaster recovery (DR) plans

• Define enterprise IT architecture and apply best practices for hybrid and multi-cloud environments

• Develop performance dashboards and KPIs to track IT service delivery and efficiency

Cybersecurity

• Design and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy based on risk management

• Supervise IT governance, information security policies, and regulatory compliance (e.g., Quebec’s Law 25, PCI-DSS)

• Apply security controls, enforce security posture, and manage incident response processes

• Oversee threat monitoring and ensure the protection of critical IT systems

Leadership

• Manage, coach, and grow a team of experts in infrastructure and cybersecurity

• Collaborate with other IT and business units to ensure technology alignment with business priorities

• Manage third-party vendors, managed service providers (MSPs), and infrastructure partners

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, including 3+ years in team management

• Deep technical expertise in infrastructure architecture and enterprise cybersecurity

• Experience in multi-site and multi-regional environments

• Strong knowledge of information security standards, IT governance, and best practices

• Ability to evaluate and integrate emerging technologies within a stable organizational framework

Soft Skills

• Proven leadership with strategic vision and a proactive, hands-on mindset

• Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex technical issues

• Highly organized, results-driven, and comfortable in dynamic environments with competing priorities

• Fluent in french (written & oral)

• Permanent full-time position (37.5 hours/week)

• Annual bonus: 10–15%
