The LMPFRO Branch is a high performing team that anticipates and advises on emerging challenges related to a changing Labour Market and dynamic workplaces. This position will support new strategic labour market initiatives, as well as labour market policy research and development. The purpose of this position is to independently manage assigned policy development projects focused on the review and revision of existing ministry programs or legislation. Job Requirements: Bachelors Degree and one (1) year related experience, OR Diploma and two (2) years of related experience, OR Certificate or coursework and three (3) years of related experience, OR An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Related experience includes: Experience researching policy issues and conducting policy analysis. Experience managing projects and/or project components. Experience communicating in a variety of formats and for a variety of audiences, including concisely and persuasively writing a range of documents/content (e.g., briefing notes, reports, presentations, strategic stakeholder communications etc.). Preference may be given to applicants who have experience in: Workforce development and labour market analysis experience. Project management and project evaluation and monitoring experience. About this Position: Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 5 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
