5 Requirements to be Occupational Therapist

  1. Master’s Degree in occupational therapy from an accredited university
  2. Perform a minimum of 1000 hours of supervised training and work
  3. Complete the National Occupational Therapy Certification Exam (NOTCE)
  4. Be accredited by the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists
  5. Have strong one-on-one people skills and communication abilities
