The Opportunity
To take ownership of assigned projects to deliver on schedule, within budget, and to scope. To act as the main point of contact for project stakeholders. To lead and oversee project execution while applying project management best practices and fostering collaboration across functions.
The Role
- Develop and drive project management processes across the business.
- Coach and support project owners and project working group members on project management best practices.
- Lead projects from kickoff through completion, including planning, controlling, reporting, and post-project review.
- Ensure that the project is delivered as, where and when promised and that it performs as specified.
- Maintain or improve project deliverables and provide timely financial and project status reports.
- Manage and report any changes, delays or commercial issues that may develop during the project.
- Facilitate project meetings with project teams.
- Track project KPIs including financial analysis and report variances.
- Facilitate regular communication.
The Candidate
Education: Project Management Professional designation
Work Experience: 5-10 years progressive project management experience in a relate field
Knowledge: Strong technical aptitude/background with technical project management experience and the ability to manage complex projects.
Proficiency: Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, MS Project / project scheduling software
