JOB SUMMARY :
Medical Services serve as a link between medical staff members and the Network’s administration. The Medical Staff Coordinator acts as the point of contact for medical staff in their zone regarding the various areas under the sector’s responsibility. The person holding this position reports to the Administrative Director of Medical Services and works under the functional authority of the zone’s Medical Director. She is also required to work in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer, department heads, and physicians in the zone, as well as other internal and external stakeholders. She collaborates with them to achieve the sector’s objectives. In addition, they work closely with other medical staffing coordinators throughout the Network to carry out tasks, depending on needs and priorities. They are therefore part of the team responsible for the overall operation of the medical services offered in the zone and provide support to team members at the regional level on matters related to both management and medical leadership.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Recognized postsecondary training in secretarial studies or office administration;
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in an administrative secretary position;
- Experience as an executive secretary, considered an asset;
- Experience in a health-related field, considered an asset;
- Any other combination of education and experience deemed relevant and equivalent may be considered;
- Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite and other software applications used within the Network;
- Excellent written communication skills, including minute-taking;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to manage workload effectively and balance multiple priorities;
- Strong sense of responsibility, excellent organizational skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
- Good work history (performance and attendance);
- Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Network’s management philosophy, and organizational values;
- Compliance with the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network.
