JOB SUMMARY
The incumbent will report to the Regional Director of Medical Imaging Services. They will assist in all activities related to medical imaging services within Vitalité Health Network in accordance with the Provincial Health Plan, Vitalité Health Network's strategic plan and the sector's specific plan. As part of their mandate, they will participate in the planning and coordination of services, including the identification and implementation of best practices, as well as performance and quality management. They will also be involved in the management of human, financial and material resources, staff training and quality and risk management. They will support innovation and digital transformation initiatives. They may be assigned various tasks based on operational needs. The incumbent may be required to travel within Vitalité Health Network’s territory to support colleagues in other areas.
REQUIREMENTS
- Undergraduate degree in health sciences;
- Graduate degree in management considered an asset;
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a health care management position;
- Eight to ten years’ experience in the health care field;
- Experience supervising/managing staff and strong coaching skills;
- Proven knowledge and experience in project management and process improvement;
- Combination of training and experience deemed equivalent may be considered;
- Proven ability to assume a transformational leadership role;
- Ability to set priorities and meet objectives;
- Ability to manage numerous projects and tasks simultaneously and understanding of the organization’s needs and priorities;
- Ability to use common computer tools (Microsoft 365, Meditech);
- Strong strategic thinking and management skills, including planning, program evaluation, analysis and problem solving;
- Visionary spirit, acceptance of responsibility and encouragement of evidence-based decision-making;
- Ability to motivate and engage people and to act as a change agent;
- Physical ability to perform assigned work;
- Good work history (performance and attendance);
- Adherence to professional ethics principles, Vitalité Health Network’s management philosophy and organizational values;
- Adherence to Vitalité Health Network’s confidentiality rules.
