Description
Department mission
The mission of the Culture, Sports, Leisure and Community Development Department is to improve quality of life by promoting accessibility, participation, and integration of all citizens through the provision of excellent community, cultural, sports and recreational facilities, activities, and services.
Responsibilities and goals associated with the position
Reporting to the Manager – Sports, Leisure and Community, the incumbent informs the public, in person or on the phone, about all of the Centre’s programs and opening hours, etc. He/she registers members using a software program, must maintain good relationships with the Centre’s customers and employees. He/she must also do the daily accounting and deposits.
The jobholder’s main responsibilities are as follows:
Assisting customers at reception and informing them about programs and open hours;
- Answering the phone and conveying communications and information to the Centre’s staff and sending information to customers;
- Registering customers and entering the required computer data;
- Selling the life-saving manual, swimming goggles, etc.;
- Doing the daily revenue accounting and bank deposits;
- Performs any other related task, as needed.

Requirements
- High School Diploma ;
- One year’s experience in a job ensuring familiarity with the sector,
- Knowledge of the Olympic Way Program;
- Knowledge of office software;
- Customer service skills;
- Bilingualism (spoken and written French and English);
Working hours
Available shifts:
Monday to Thursday: 9:30am to 2:00pm
