  Role and Mission

Reporting to the Front Office leadership team, the Assistant Front Office Manager plays a key role in the daily operations of the Front Office.

This role supports leadership in supervising the reception teams, ensures compliance with Marriott standards, and contributes to delivering an exceptional guest experience while maintaining the smooth execution of daily operations.

  Key Responsibilities Operational Supervision

• Ensure the smooth daily operation of the Front Office
• Support leadership in managing operations across both hotels
• Quickly intervene in operational situations or guest concerns
• Ensure compliance with Marriott procedures, standards, and policies
• Conduct inspection rounds to ensure service quality

  Team Leadership and Engagement

• Assist leadership in supervising and coordinating Front Office teams
• Participate in training and onboarding new team members
• Communicate priorities, expectations, and operational updates to staff
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
• Act as a resource person for employees during shifts

  Guest Experience and Service Quality

• Ensure personalized service aligned with Marriott service standards
• Handle guest situations and support the team in resolving issues
• Review guest feedback and contribute to service improvements
• Collaborate closely with other departments (Housekeeping, Sales, F&B, Operations)

  Administrative and Organizational Support

• Assist in scheduling according to operational needs
• Support administrative tasks related to Front Office operations
• Maintain strict control of keys, billing procedures, and security processes
• Contribute to monitoring departmental performance indicators

  Profile We Are Looking For Education and Experience

• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Tourism, Administration, or a related field
• Experience working in a structured hotel environment
• Knowledge of hotel systems (PMS, reservation systems)

  Professional Experience

• Experience in Front Office operations or hotel supervision
• Experience in a high-volume environment (an asset)
• Experience within an international hotel chain (Marriott an asset)

  Skills and Qualifications

• Strong leadership presence and operational involvement
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
• Strong focus on guest service and guest experience
• Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written

  Personal Qualities

• Strong sense of responsibility and autonomy
• Ability to manage priorities and unexpected situations
• Dynamic team player
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  Working Conditions

• Full-time position
• Schedule mainly during daytime hours with flexibility based on operational needs
• Occasional evenings and weekends
