The Sprott Department of Surgery is the largest surgical program in Canada. The Manager, OR Supply Chain & Inventory is a strategic leadership role within UHN’s surgical portfolio, responsible for overseeing the OR supply chain and inventory management to drive sustainable value and operational efficiencies.

Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services, Perfusion and Anesthesia Services, this role provides leadership to a multidisciplinary team and has direct oversight of UHN’s inventory management function. The Manager is accountable for the implementation and monitoring of inventory management processes to enhance standardization, improve system-wide visibility, and optimize resource utilization.

The Manager operates in alignment with leading supply chain industry standards, optimizing supply chain and inventory processes to balance operational efficiency, financial stewardship, and patient safety.

This role provides leadership across people, processes, and technology within the supply chain, with a strong focus on patient safety. It is accountable for ensuring supply reliability and sound financial management across a complex inventory portfolio of over 15,000 Pyxis-managed items, including Cardinal ValueLink stock, non-stock direct purchases, consignment inventory, and owned direct-order implants.
