Transport Laberge is looking for a General Laborer for our Mont-Saint Grégoire branch!

Under the supervision of the Workshop Supervisor, you’ll be the go-to support that keeps our maintenance operations running smoothly.
Varied tasks, plenty of movement, and the satisfaction of contributing to the performance of our branch every single day!

Responsibilities

  • Sweep, wipe, scrub, and wax the hallways, floors, and stairways
  • Use industrial vacuums to remove factory waste, grime, large debris, and other refuse
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash interior windows, walls, and ceilings
  • Balance the rent ledger
  • Perform minor repairs on equipment
  • Clean and disinfect bathroom fixtures
  • Remove snow and ice from sidewalks and parking lots
  • Carry out regular maintenance work
  • Perform small cleaning tasks
  • Clean equipment inside and out
  • Clean work areas
  • Pick up parts after repairs
  • Pick up and collect materials from our suppliers
  • Perform any other related tasks

Requirements

  • Class 5 driver’s license.
  • Class 1 driver’s license (an asset).
  • Experience in a similar position.
  • Good physical condition.
  • Motivated, reliable, punctual, and diligent.
  • French-speaking.

Employment Conditions

  • Salary: 23$/hr
  • Schedule: 40 hours/week (Monday to Friday).
