Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Warehouse Clerk plays a key role in ensuring the smooth running of operations by effectively managing inventory and the flow of goods. He or she oversees the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, while ensuring inventory accuracy and the availability of parts needed for operations.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive and inspect goods upon arrival
- Ensure inventories are rigorously updated
- Prepare BOMs (Bill of Materials) and assemble kits required for production
- Manage internal shipments between departments
- Respond efficiently to urgent requests for materials
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Operate material handling equipment (pallet jack, forklift)
- Help optimize warehousing and logistics processes
Requirements
- DEP or DEC in logistics, inventory management, or a related field
- Proficiency with computer software
- Knowledge of inventory management systems (a plus)
- Experience in warehousing or logistics (a plus)
