Job Description:

**Contract position till December 2027**

As Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and executing a complex branding project for SLGI. Reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing & Experience, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, ensuring its successful completion on time. This role calls for a strategic, creative thinker with a proven track record of managing complex projects. This person will work closely with Sun Life Global and Canadian leads, as well as the department leads across SLGI.

What will you do?

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets while maintaining project documentation repositories.

  • Lead project working group and project meetings, summarizing details of the discussion and capturing important action items or issues for follow up

  • Provide proactive and regular updates on project status and any gaps that need to be addressed

  • Build relationships with stakeholders and facilitate collaboration between team members, acting as a key contact for escalations while also driving decision-making processes and resolving conflicts among stakeholders

  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout the rebranding process

  • Manage risks, changes and provide regular updates to stakeholders, inclusive of executive leaders throughout the project lifecycle

  • Manage the implementation of the new brand across all touchpoints, assigning priority levels to required updates based on scope and impact

  • Leverage AI solutions to optimize workflow and increase efficiencies

What do you need to succeed?

  • University or college degree in Business, Marketing, Digital, Communications or a related field

  • 8+ years of experience in a project manager role

  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams

  • Proficient in using project management software, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant tools, including PowerPointAbility to work independently and as part of a team

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies

  • Build strong partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders through diplomacy and collaboration

  • Lead and influence without direct authority; communicate effectively and hold others accountable

  • Ability to manage multiple activities with competing timelines and varying complexity

  • CAPM or PMP is an asset

  • Knowledge of the asset management industry is an asset

  • Experience in a marketing agency or large marketing team is an asset

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
