R&D Laboratory Technician

As a Research and Development Laboratory Technician, your support will actively contribute to product performance and manufacturing process optimization. In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

• Conduct laboratory tests for product development and optimization.
• Manage laboratory approvals for raw materials.
• Analyze results and make technical recommendations.
• Support internal teams in R&D projects and the resolution of non-conformities.
• Maintain technical documentation and participate in production testing
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and validation of new formulations
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
• Communicate with the maintenance department for equipment support, repair, and maintenance

With the following skills and qualities, you will be successful in this role:

• DEC in a relevant field and/or equivalent training and/or experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.
• Rigorous work ethic.
• Good ability to understand, interpret, and explain regulatory standards and technical specifications (ASTM, ISO, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Bilingual in English and French 4/5
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001
