As a Methods Project Manager, you'll have the opportunity to learn more and more about our various manufacturing methods and strive to meet our customers' highest quality standards. Your main role? Maintain and improve production start-up practices for new products - a stimulating challenge worthy of your expertise!


In this position, you will have the opportunity to :

Product production / industrialization

  • Support production and engineering during new product validations
  • Define new product work methods that meet customer quality criteria while prioritizing safety and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with engineering, production and quality teams to solve technical problems
  • Ensure a smooth transition between product development and production phases
  • Integrate the risk analysis process throughout the new product industrialization process and propose corrective actions

Methods and manufacturing engineering

  • Write and update work instructions, manufacturing ranges and other documents relating to operations
  • Work with production employees to validate that methods and instructions are appropriate
  • Consult with various stakeholders and experts to validate the compliance of methods in terms of quality and safety
  • Analyze manufacturing ranges through time studies and identify waste
  • Propose and implement new production methods that optimize added value
  • Participate in employee training
  • Participate in manufacturing engineering and continuous improvement projects (flow reorganization, workstation layout, etc.)

Profile

With the following skills and qualities, you'll be successful in this role:

  • BACC or DEC in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or other relevant field related to the role
  • Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCad, SolidWorks), management tools (ERP, MES) and Office Suite
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Analytical and synthesizing skills
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Results orientation and ability to solve complex problems
  • Fluency in French and English (written and spoken)
