In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Coordinate and supervise a team consisting of a foreman, 2 coordinators and approximately twenty (20) unionized employees, mainly for receiving, shelving, space management and inventory follow-up
  • Propose innovative improvements by offering advice, support and training to your team with the aim of increasing operational efficiency, performance and reduce work-related risks
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company regulations, procedures and the collective agreement
  • Produce various reports for performance monitoring, appraisal, work accident management, labor relations and absenteeism management
  • Contribute to the preparation and monitoring of budgets

With the following skills and qualities, you will be successful in this role:

  • BAC in operations management, administration or related field (experience or training deemed equivalent will be considered)
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing management practices
  • 5 years' experience in distribution and supervising staff
  • Knowledge of Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Excellent French and functional English.
