Description
In this position, you will have the opportunity to:
- Perform mechanical tests on different types of cast iron and sand (tensile strength, particle size, and hardness)
- Perform chemical analyses of cast iron using spectrography
- Analyze cast iron using microscopy
- Inspect parts
- Document analysis results according to established procedures
- Ensure the proper functioning and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Participate in the continuous improvement of quality control procedures
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality-related issues
- Comply with safety regulations and standards established by the company
- Perform all other related tasks

ProfileWith the following skills and qualities, you will be successful in this role:
- Vocational or college diploma in laboratory techniques, chemistry, or a related field
- Experience in an industrial or metallurgical environment
- Knowledge of measurement tools and laboratory analysis techniques
- Rigorous, detail-oriented, and able to work in a team
- Proficiency in data entry and reporting software (Excel, ERP, etc.)
