Do you enjoy troubleshooting mechanical issues, working on a variety of equipment, and having the autonomy to manage your own work?
We are looking for an Industrial Mechanic to join our evening maintenance team and help ensure the reliability of our production equipment.
What you'll do
Corrective Maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues on production equipment;

A Diverse Mechanical Environment
At our facility, you will work with two very different types of equipment:
- Older equipment that relies primarily on traditional mechanical systems;
- Recently installed equipment (less than two years old) incorporating higher levels of automation and electronic components.
This diversity allows you to develop and maintain a broad range of technical skills.
The Profile That Succeeds With Us
The evening shift offers a high level of autonomy. This position is ideal for a mechanic who enjoys working independently, making decisions, and managing maintenance activities without constant supervision.
Once the training period is completed, there are no maintenance supervisors or trainers regularly present on the evening shift, and support availability may be limited due to scheduling. We are therefore looking for someone who is comfortable and motivated in this type of environment.
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Enjoys working independently;
- Can effectively diagnose problems and take initiative;
- Thrives in an environment built on trust and autonomy;
- Holds a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS/DEP) in Industrial Mechanics or possesses equivalent experience;
- Has strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
- Has experience using a CMMS (asset);
- Has knowledge of industrial electrical systems and/or automation (asset);
- Has a functional knowledge of English (asset).
