Description
The employee is responsible for the efficient packaging of Sika products while complying with safety rules and quality requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Package various products and/or prepare mixes while meeting quality requirements
- Report to the team leader any product with quality issues or non‑conformities
- Manually stack products on pallets or in storage racks
- Perform daily maintenance on equipment
- Complete and process required documentation
- Follow all procedures of the environmental management program applicable to the work area
- Work safely at all times and adhere to all company safety policies (PPE, lockout/tagout, confined space, safe lifting practices, etc.)
- Report any unsafe working conditions, accidents, incidents, and near misses to the supervisor
- Ensure general plant cleanliness, housekeeping, and yard sweeping according to applicable standards
- Perform any other related duties
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Forklift operator certification (an asset)
- 1 to 2 years of similar experience in a manufacturing environment
