Our energy & resources client is seeking a Technical Coordinator (SCADA/Leak Detection, 7+ years of experience) to support Agile software delivery and coordinate business analysis across pipeline control systems

Join a dynamic team driving technology initiatives within the oil & gas sector, focused on SCADA and Leak Detection system development. This role integrates business analysis, project coordination, and Agile facilitation to ensure successful delivery of software solutions supporting operational efficiency. The position offers strong cross-functional visibility and interaction between technical teams and business stakeholders, enabling impactful project outcomes across multiple initiatives.

Must Haves

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in business analysis, project coordination, and Agile delivery environments
  • Experience with SCADA systems and Leak Detection solutions within the oil & gas or energy domain
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical requirements for business stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Education in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline

Nice to Have

  • Experience in pipeline or industrial control systems environments
  • Exposure to Git, DevOps platforms, or CI/CD pipelines
  • Hands-on experience with Jira dashboards and workflows
  • Background coordinating distributed or hybrid teams

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical deliverables based on operational needs
  • Plan and track project activities across multiple initiatives
  • Monitor timelines, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful execution
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Organize and lead demos to communicate progress and capture feedback
  • Support backlog grooming and prioritization with product owners and technical teams
