Title: Supply Chain Analyst I
Location: Calgary & Edmonton
Position: Type: On site hybrid (Mon, Tue, Thu in office)
Duration: 1 year (with a possibility of extension)
Start Date: ASAP
Overview
The position is within the Supply Service Center, which manages The Oil & Gas Client requests and Internal Customer and Supplier Portal support. The role will be supporting our Performance Center Team.
There are three areas of focus:
Dispatch Requests
• As purchase requisitions come in through the day, the person in this role will review the requisition for accuracy and completeness, assess urgency and direct it to the respective Buyers. Buyers are located across multiple offices in the US and Canada.
• This opportunity will expose you to our front-end processes for purchase orders and will provide an overview of SCM’s category structure within our organization. Also, this role will provide an opportunity to learn about the various ERP systems that The Client uses.
Internal Customer Service
• SCM inquiries from our internal stakeholders are managed by this team. In this role, you will be assisting our stakeholders with questions regarding their purchase requisitions, purchase orders and use of tools.
• Effective communication skills are required as regular, ongoing daily interactions with customers is a key function in this role.
Supplier Portal
• The Supplier Portal is a new online tool for our Suppliers to engage The Clients with respect to Purchase Orders, Invoices, and other SCM functions.
• The Customer Engagement Team will be supporting external communications and be the primary point of contact for our Suppliers.
Must Have Skills:
• University degree or diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management
one to three years (1-3) experience in Supply Chain, supplier/vendor maintenance and relations, customer service and support or accounts payable or other closely related experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Intermediate MS Excel and analytical skills including demonstrated proficiency extracting excel documents, using pivot tables and creating spreadsheets.
• Proven communication and relationship building skills including excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrates initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders, large organizations and multiple regions to drive common solutions.

Preferred:
• Working experience of ERP systems for supplier onboarding (specifically, Oracle Cloud, Service Now)
• Ability to work with urgency in a customer facing role with tight timelines
• Customer service skills, including ability to communicate instructions
