Sr. IT Project Manager (Technology) with App Development experience to support our Commercial Banking client

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Toronto, Hybrid (2 days/week)

Description:

• Lead project within Commercial Banking receivables space that will engage 10+ internal/offshore development teams (mobile, cloud)
• Reports administrative, financial metrics, and project status reports back to Business Sponsors and related stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability
• Manages project budget up to value of the approved funding
• Works in close partnership with Finance and key stakeholders for monthly reporting requirements (i.e. Finance, compliance, Status, Issues Management).
• Possesses change management skills, including identifying people, processes, and technology implications to various end users / stakeholders and designing the change and implementation plan.
• Identifies and tracks project risk and develops mitigation plans to manage risk (i.e. risk related to technology, change management, procurement, business process management, requirements management).
• Develops an understanding of organizational complexity to interact and engage with the appropriate matrix areas for the construction and delivery of the solution.
• Establishes effective project oversight and other governance bodies, and engages the appropriate stakeholders to support the direction of the project and enable superior customer experience.

Must Haves:

• 8+ Years of experience in project management
• Valid PMP designation from the Project Management Institute
• Advanced knowledge and experience in project management, including managing large-scale projects of significant complexity and high value ($1MM-$5MM) with low to moderate risk.
• Knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools (e.g. Clarity, MS Project, SharePoint repositories, Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of waterfall and agile methodologies
