Description
Our client is looking for Sr. Program Manager, Generative AI, to delivering projects within the Data & AI (DnAI) and other projects through all phases of the solution in the Financial Industry.
Project Description:
Generative AI & Productivity, Virtual Agents, Advice & AI - driving POC's, Pilots, scaling Agentic and Generative AI solutions.
As a Program Manager delivering projects within the Data & AI (DnAI) and End-to-End Money Movement (E2EMM) Portfolio, you will lead the Generative AI and Advice AI Program, working with other Project Managers, Agile Delivery Leads and Project Coordinators to successfully deliver the projects within it, by providing expertise throughout all phases of the Solution Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC).
This project will include the replacement and decommissioning of an existing tool.
Must Have's:
- 10+ years of experience in IT project and program management
- 3+ years leading cross-functional project teams through the successful delivery of large-scale initiatives
- Previous experience leading Generative AI, Agentic AI, and innovative solutions is required
- Proven experience delivering projects with teams that include internal team members, and Vendors.
- Understanding how to navigate both Agile and Waterfall processes through the delivery cycle, and manage multiple streams of work is key.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Nice to Have's:
- Project Delivery experience in Data or Financial realms is an asset
- Banking or Financial Industry experience
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Technology, Business, and 3rd party stakeholders to confirm the problems to be solved, expected outcomes and project deliverables.
- Identify and confirm project approach and engage appropriate stakeholders to develop detailed resource estimates and effective plans to manage the initiative.

- Assign deliverables, tasks and activities and continuously monitor and control all associated resources, schedules and plans.
- Report on status, risk management, budget/cost, success criteria and reporting as required
- Anticipate and effectively manage risks and issues throughout the lifecycle of the initiative.
- Ensure optimal communications within and across teams and with all project stakeholders.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis and ensure a strong and positive stakeholder relationship.
- Provide positive team leadership and motivate those teams directly and indirectly involved.
- Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects
- Ensure team members are effectively onboarded onto projects
- Support planning, preparing, and conducting of project delivery ceremonies
- Report key metrics to senior stakeholders
