Sr. Cloud Enginner to design and implement large-scale DevOps and FinOps practices

Position: Sr. DevOps Lead to design implementation of FinOps practices for a financial client

Duration: Permanent Full-Time

Location: Hybrid Toronto

Must haves:

• 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer with Azure experience
• Experience with Databricks for big data processing and analytics
• Experience with Azure DevOps, specifically Azure Pipelines for CI/CD
• Knowledge of Microsoft-based business application optimization (Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server, .NET)
• Microsoft Azure environment setup and support (VMs, App Services, Azure Functions)
• Azure cost management and resource optimization

Nice to haves:

• Incident volume reduction through automation and proactive measures
• Standardization of IT processes and change management
• DevOps, SecOps, and FinOps experience (development, security, and financial operations integration)
• Cloud management and cost optimization experience
• OneCloud platform experience (or similar cloud management platforms)
• Design and implementation skills for cloud-based solutions and automation pipelines
• Experience with cloud-based architecture and design patterns
• CI/CD experience (designing and implementing automated build, test, and deployment pipelines)
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM)
