Our valued client is looking for a Sr. (Bilingual) Agile/Hybrid Project Leader to act as a bridge-builder between cutting-edge value delivery and enterprise governance.


  • This is a hybrid position, with 2 days per week in-office in Montreal, QC
  • 8-hour days
  • This is a 6-month initial term, with 3 renewable options of 6 months each


Tasks include:

  • This is a matrix role which involves and requires collaboration across multiple groups for which you do not have organizational authority and will need to work with and influence. You anticipate and manage risks, dependencies and changes, facilitating proactive problem-solving and informed trade-offs. You are also familiar with more traditional approaches and can bridge the gap between business functions and groups that operate on more fixed parameters and constraints and the Agile/hybrid environment within which value delivery is occurring
  • Support cross-team coordination, dependencies, program-level risks
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters to ensure consistent application and maturity of agile practices across teams. The Scrum Master primes coaching and facilitation at the team level.
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters to ensure resolution of organizational impediments beyond the team’s ability to influence, as escalated by the Scrum Master.
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters to facilitate and support cross-team dependencies and coordination / alignment.
  • At a program level, ensure identification, tracking, and mitigation of program-level risks, impacts, and interdependencies across teams, vendors, and platforms.
  • Escalate strategically and early, ensuring clear decision paths for leadership
  • Executive Bridge and Financial Stewardship
  • Fluently translate progress, risk, and value delivery metrics between technical teams and corporate partners (e.g., Finance, Executive Governance), ensuring information is fit-for-purpose for high-level stewardship and control.
  • Maintain and report on high-level flow, performance, and value delivery metrics.
  • Provide oversight for financial guardrails and investment stewardship.
  • Partner with Product Management to align delivery with product strategy
  • collaborate with Product Directors, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to ensure initiative objectives, backlogs, and delivery plans are aligned with customer value, product roadmaps, and organizational priorities.
  • Work closely and collaboratively to align with the roadmap Product Management has ownership of
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts as needed to understand/maintain backlog
  • Support the Product Owners, who have ownership/accountability of the client relationship
  • Ensure transparency through meaningful and fit for purpose reporting and communications
  • Provide concise, insight-driven updates on progress, health, risks, and value delivery. Adapt communication to executives, technical teams, and product leaders.
  • Ensure common understanding among stakeholders and provide appropriate and timely information to governance committees and corporate groups such as Finance;
  • Ensure effective Communications at all levels with, and support clients to enable community support for the project and to solicit input to improve the project
  • Support Product Management - supplier-facing
  • Translation of backlog and requirements to Vendor requirements and specification
  • Prioritization, follow-up, monitoring delivery and spend
  • Support Product Management in Vendor/Supplier management as appropriate


Must have:

  • Seven (7) or more years of experience in project/program delivery, with at least three (3) years acting in a Senior Agile or Hybrid leadership role on complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proven success in coaching teams to shift focus from outputs (tasks) to measurable business outcomes/value.
  • Demonstrated experience in mentoring/supporting/upskilling team members and stakeholders in Agile mindsets
  • Experienced working in an evolving agile initiative that interfaces with traditional/non-Agile groups and suppliers.
  • Expert ability to adapt communications and maintain alignment among diverse audiences, effectively bridging the gap between technical teams, operational groups, and executive governance.
  • Experience interfacing with Finance department to align project delivery with budget governance and financial reporting cycles.
  • Experience collaborating with third-party vendors to align their delivery with internal backlogs, ensuring requirements are clearly translated and delivery remains on track.
  • Demonstrated pragmatism and flexibility in tailoring Agile frameworks to suit organizational needs and navigating an environment where agile delivery interfaces with traditional corporate processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and training.
  • Experience in delivering major transformational initiatives in a product management environment, with Agile and hybrid components, that leverage technology to deliver value to the customer (e.g. complex, multi-year, organization-wide, multi-million dollar projects).
  • Proven ability to foster a culture of psychological safety, encouraging experimentation, curiosity, and continuous learning within a team environment
  • Strong proficiency in utilizing data (e.g. via Jira, Power BI, etc.) to report on the realization of business value and performance metrics.
  • Experienced with traditional / waterfall, Agile, and hybrid project methodologies and best practices.
  • Bilingual (English/French)

  • Experience with CBC/RC organization - an asset.
  • Negotiation skills (internal and external) - a strong asset.
  • Experience with Jira, Power BI, MS Project, Smartsheet or similar tools is an asset.
  • Experience with Google Suite is an asset.
  • Experience with Confluence is an asset
