Our valued Public Sector client requires a Senior Business Analyst to develop a BRD, Use cases and User stories and process models for a large federal Data migration from a mainframe to cloud based solution.

Must Have:

• Business Analysis certification (IIBA, PMI, etc.)
• Extensive experience documenting detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
• Experience developing Use Cases and User Stories
• Experience with process models and workflows
• Canadian Post-Secondary degree/Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Enhanced Reliability Clearance

Tasks Include, but are not Limited to:

• Develop and document statements of requirements for all current state technologies.
• Perform business analyses of functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows.
• Evaluate existing procedures and methods, identify and document items such as database content, structure, application subsystems.
• Define and document interfaces of manual to automated operations within application subsystems, to external systems, and between new and existing systems.
• Analyze existing processes, systems, and data. Determine gaps and a path to resolve the gaps.
• Draft user stories and use cases, process models and diagrams.
• Knowledge transfer to IT staff, developers, and end-users on the functionalities.
• Establish acceptance test criteria with client for the solution when implemented
• Support and use the selected departmental methodologies, specifically agile development practices and Azure DevOps.
• Identify potential risks and issues related to the project.
