Description
Our financial client is seeking a Senior z/OS PeopleSoft Database Administrator (DBA) to work on a migration platform from DB2 to Oracle
Duration - 1 year
Work Mode - Hybrid
Work Location - Downtown Toronto
Project scope: Migrate platform from DB2 to Oracle
Must Haves
- Seasoned DBA with extensive experience in managing and optimizing DB2 on z/OS environments.
- Proficient in mainframe technologies, including z/OS, ensuring seamless integration with DB2 operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in database design, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security administration.
- Strong understanding of mainframe-specific tools, such as DB2 Automation Tool, DB2 Object Comparison Tool, and DB2 Administration Tool.
Nice to Have
- Experience in migration from DB2 to Oracle on AIX/LINUX
