Our public sector client requires a Secret cleared Senior BTA to assist with the design of an internal and external facing app by conducting user research to onboard new internal user groups. The scope of work includes the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of two interconnected digital products through a dual-track agile approach integrating User Experience (UX) and Lean process optimization. In addition to delivering UX research and design outputs, the resource will support a structured Lean improvement approach to assess and optimize end-to-end service delivery workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Gather business, technical, and user requirements.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, analyze workflows, and define objectives.
• Conduct user interviews, surveys, and heuristic evaluations.
• Conduct user research to gather quantitative and qualitative data on user needs and pain points;
• Synthesize user research data to generate actionable insights that inform the product roadmap through the creation of artifacts such as affinity maps, personas, and journey maps;
• Review user feedback and consolidate findings into actionable insights.
• Explore and understand existing services or products and provide recommendations for targeted improvements based on data.
• Analyze operational processes and service workflows in addition to user experience.

Must have:

• Secret clearance
• Experience with wireframes and user flows
• Experience with WCAG 2.1 AA and Canada.ca Design System
• Experience with PowerApps and Azure DevOps
