We are seeking a Senior Transformation Project Manager to stand up and lead an enterprise PMO and drive large-scale business and technology transformation for a Québec-based, private-equity-backed deathcare services platform operating funeral homes, cemeteries, and operational centres across the province.


This is a hands-on, execution-focused contract role supporting organic growth through technology modernization, shared service enablement, and operational improvement. The successful contractor will operate as a PMO lead and transformation owner, working closely with executive leadership, Private Equity stakeholders, and business unit leaders to translate strategy into delivery across multiple brands.


This role is on-site in Montréal (4-5 days/week) and requires a bilingual French/English professional comfortable leading change in high-empathy, people-centric environments.


Must-Have Requirements'

  • Senior Transformation Project Manager with 10+ years leading enterprise transformation initiatives
  • Proven experience standing up and leading a PMO in a multi-business or multi-site environment
  • Ability to operate as a “team of one,” driving execution by influencing business leaders and functional teams without direct authority
  • Hands-on delivery experience driving technology and operating model change (not governance-only PMO work)
  • Bilingual French/English (mandatory)
  • Experience leading enterprise technology implementations, including ERP (Business Central), Case Management, Contact Centre, or similar platforms
  • Strong background partnering with executive stakeholders and business unit leaders
  • Ability to work on-site in Montréal 4-5 days per week, with travel across Québec as required


Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in healthcare, deathcare, or other high-empathy service industries
  • Experience working within a private-equity-backed portfolio company
  • Background overseeing systems integrators and third-party vendors
  • Change management certification or formal change leadership experience


Responsibilities

  • Stand up and lead the enterprise PMO, including governance, delivery standards, and execution cadence
  • Own and execute the enterprise transformation roadmap, aligned to business growth objectives
  • Lead technology modernization initiatives, including ERP, case management, and contact centre platforms
  • Partner with leaders across Finance, HR, IT, Operations, Customer Service, and Sales to enable shared services
  • Drive hands-on change management, training, and adoption across all brands and locations
  • Manage and oversee systems integrators and external advisors
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership while remaining deeply engaged in execution
