Our public sector client is hiring a Senior Test Lead to provide testing oversight and to validate test results on an SAP project.

Background:

The solution will leverage an already procured, standards-compliant shipment management software currently undergoing accreditation for implementation on the organization’s internal network. The project will also include a procurement strategy to acquire devices capable of electronically tracking shipments domestically and internationally. The final outcome will enable the business to automatically track transport packages and shipments within the enterprise resource management system and ensure interoperability with partner organizations through the exchange of mission-relevant in-transit visibility data.

Tasks:

• Functional understanding of SAP ECC & S4/HANA. Specifically, SAP migration cockpit methodology related to data migrations from legacy databases to SAP S4/HANA and from SAP ECC to SAP S4/HANA;
• Ensuring that test plans are followed and executed, including coordination of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios;
• Plan, organize, and schedule testing efforts of systems, including the execution of systems integration tests, specialized tests, and user acceptance testing (e.g., stress tests);
• Provide support for the use of Open Text testing tool products, particular those used for Functional Test, such as Unified Functional Testing (UFT), Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
• Meet with Business Solution Team (BST) and System Integrator (SI) to understand the scope and requirements of projects;
• Advises on preparation of meaningful test tracking dashboards leveraging Micro Focus licensed products for complete testing life cycle to provide leadership and team members with sufficient details to understand the status of testing and possible remediation actions.
