Our valued public sector client is seeking a Senior Technology Architect to support with key projects, initiatives and Operational activities for both legacy and modernized systems.

Responsibilities:

• Documents that describes the layers and components that are needed for a specific solution.
• a description of features and functionality, technical specifications, and design requirements. The document will help guide the design and development processes, make revisions based on user testing and customer input, and ensure the final product meets user needs and expectations.
• define the current state and the goals and/or desired outcomes of the new architecture (end state) it also includes the major steps and milestones needed to reach the desired end state.
• Progress reports will include a summary of tasks and milestones and their related timelines along with a summary of progress against those tasks/milestones against the scheduled.
• Architecture Design Documents: These include details of components and how they interact with each other as well as details of the data flow between them. They provide a complete view of an application/solution and will be used to inform design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Design Decision Documents:
• Assist SMEs in documenting the cloud environment process and procedures:
• Internet access infrastructure:
• Training and knowledge transfer as required

Must haves:

• 5+ years of experience as an IT Cloud architect for AWS and/or Azure.
• 7+ years of experience recommending and developing cloud infrastructure design, architecture and mitigation strategies including hub-and-spoke design, virtual Hub, virtual WAN, cloud perimeter, connectivity
• 7+ years of experience in evaluating network integration and connectivity solutions and identifying areas for improvement to enhance scalability and efficiency.
• 7+ years of experience IaaS, PaaS and SaaS cloud solutions
