Senior Technical Project Manager to lead the end-to-end replatforming of SAP HANA environment from Microsoft Azure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead the end-to-end replatforming of SAP HANA environment from Microsoft Azure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This is not a traditional lift-and-shift migration - the project involves a full rebuild of the SAP HANA infrastructure on GCP, requiring a deep understanding of cloud replatforming strategies, stakeholder management, and SAP ecosystems.

You will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT infrastructure teams, and system integrator (SI) partners. You’ll drive execution of the project strategy, manage the delivery roadmap, and ensure timely and successful delivery of all phases of the migration. This role is highly technical and requires excellent communication and leadership skills to align cross-functional teams.

• Project Leadership & Planning:
• Develop and own the detailed project execution plan for the SAP HANA replatforming from Azure to GCP.
• Define project milestones, timelines, risk mitigation strategies, and resource plans.
• Ensure alignment with overall enterprise architecture and cloud strategy.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Act as the central point of contact between the Loblaw Finance team, IT infrastructure partners (SRE - Jaspal’s team), and selected vendors.
• Facilitate steering committee meetings, provide executive-level reporting, and manage stakeholder expectations across business and technology domains.
• Execution & Delivery:
• Drive execution of technical tasks, ensuring SAP HANA is rebuilt to meet business requirements on GCP.
• Collaborate with system integrators and internal teams to validate architecture decisions, infrastructure readiness, and platform stability.
• Oversee testing, cutover, and post-migration validation phases.
• Vendor & Resource Coordination:
• Work closely with selected vendors to manage deliverables and timelines.
• Coordinate internal and external technical resources to ensure cohesive execution.
• Risk and Issue Management:
• Proactively identify risks, issues, and interdependencies; escalate and resolve as appropriate.
• Maintain RAID logs and ensure clear documentation of decisions and changes.

• 8+ years of project management experience with large-scale IT infrastructure or ERP transformation projects.
• Proven experience managing complex cloud replatforming or migration efforts - ideally involving SAP HANA.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, with specific experience migrating or building on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Previous hands-on involvement with SAP landscapes (S/4HANA preferred), infrastructure provisioning, and enterprise-grade cloud services.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising between technical teams and non-technical business units (e.g., Finance).
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure and GCP services and architectures.
• Experience working with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or Infrastructure Ops teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage third-party vendors and system integrators.

• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification.
• GCP Cloud Certification or equivalent experience.
• Experience in the retail or financial services sector.
