Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Technical Business Systems Analyst (10+ years) to support the Open Banking Core platform using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and REST APIs

Must Haves

• 10+ years in business systems analysis within banking or fintech environments
• 5+ years working on API platforms, data sharing, and authentication systems
• Strong technical knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and OpenAPI/Swagger
• Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and microservices architecture concepts
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

Nice to Have

• Developer background
• Experience with API design
• Familiarity with Open Banking standards (FDX, UK Open Banking, or similar)

Responsibilities

• Support technical requirements breakdown, implementation, and delivery of OAuth authorization, authentication, and access services
• Collaborate with developers on data modeling, API design, payload standards, and error handling
• Produce functional specifications, sequence diagrams, data mapping documents, integration flows, and NFRs
• Participate in system design discussions with architecture and engineering teams
• Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, and regulatory requirements
• Work within Agile squads to refine backlog, plan sprints, and decompose stories
• Write detailed technical user stories and support UAT and production incident analysis
