Our valued public sector client is seeking to hire a Senior Technical Architect to oversee and improve the design, performance, and security of classified IT systems and networks for a public sector client.

Background:

The initiatives aims to enhance IT capability development across core areas such as Classified Email, Business Transformation, and Core IT Infrastructure, ensuring effective coordination, technical management, and support for both national and allied systems.

Tasks:

• Liaise with departmental technical groups and integration teams and be prepared to provide expert written and/or verbal advice in response to questions pertaining to tier three capability management and service improvement of the Classified Network Operating System (CNOS), Consolidated Secret Network Infrastructure (CSNI), Command and Control Information System (C2IS), Joint Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (JISR), Transportable Local Area Network (TLAN), and Allied enclaves including, but not limited to, NSWAN and BICES;
• Create analysis reports on matters pertaining to force development of the CNOS, CSNI, C2IS, JISR, TLAN, NSWAN, BICES and so on, for matters affecting their management such as proposed changes or pertaining to available monitoring tools used for tracking, reporting, monitoring and management of the life cycle process for assets and configuration;
• Prepare technical documents as and when requested by the TA for service improvement of the CNOS, CSNI, C2IS, JISR, TLAN, and/or NS infrastructures. These technical documents may include
• a. Lab Test plans;
• b. Lab Test reports listing test results;
• c. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); and;
• d. Technical discussions of a particular aspect of technologies deployed (or are to be deployed) within the CNet;
• Undertake, as requested, capability management and service improvement of the CNOS, CSNI, C2IS, JISR, TLAN, and/or NS and BICES infrastructures to ensure continuity in design and configuration. These duties include;
• a. Provide tier three expertise;
• b. Read, analyze, and provide input and recommendations for Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and other documents to be accepted by the TA;
• c. Review RFCs and provide impact assessment on the production systems; and,
• d. Consult vendor websites and technical advice sites for advice and input.

• Active Directory and X.500 - 10+ years
• Allied Communications Publications (ACP 133) - 5+ years
• STANAG, ICE, JIMS, OS3 - 5+ years
• DSWG (Directory Services Working Group), BTWG (BICES Technical Working Group) and JISRWG (Joint Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Working Group). - 5+ years
• University degree or college diploma
• MCSE and MCITP certifications
