Our financial services client is seeking a Solution Architect to design and govern enterprise architecture within Capital Markets systems and operations (Remote) [2026-45]

Join a major Canadian banking organization focused on advancing enterprise architecture across its Capital Markets domain. This role provides strategic and architectural leadership over technologies and platforms supporting trading, securities, and financial operations. The position offers influence over end-to-end design, integration, and governance of large-scale systems in a highly visible function supporting enterprise growth across Capital Markets.

Must Haves

• Extensive background in solution architecture within Capital Markets or Securities environments
• Strong systems thinking approach connecting enterprise services, capabilities, and long-term strategic planning
• Hands-on expertise with Salesforce, nCino, Murex, SmartTrade, Bloomberg, or similar financial platforms
• Comprehensive understanding of Capital Markets operations, business functions, and governance structures
• Post-secondary education in computer science, engineering, or a related field

Nice to Have

• Experience collaborating with vendors or technology partners such as Fidessa, NBIN, Morningstar, or Position Watch
• Exposure to enterprise-scale integration or architecture governance initiatives

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural direction and oversight across Capital Markets systems and integrations
• Ensure alignment between technology design and business strategies within financial services
• Guide enterprise architecture planning and support tools across the organization
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define long-term architecture vision
• Support governance and standards ensuring consistency across platforms and solutions
