Senior SIGINT cleared Systems Administrator supporting the implementation of complex systems for an enterprise client in the public sector

Our client is looking for a system integrator resource as they relate to the Atlassian products. It is essential that the candidate have broad systems integration and troubleshooting experience preferably in the Atlassian toolset realm. They must be comfortable working with clients throughout the lifecycle of a project as well as with the implementation of complex systems either independently or in teams. In support of the mandate, environment and program, the Atlassian Administrator will be part of a team supporting the Atlassian portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Administrative (perform administrative tasks for the Atlassian products such as installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, backup and recovery)
• Architect (Design, configure, manage and support Atlassian Tools)
• Configuration (required to configure and or adjust settings in the software such as firewall settings and or parameters)
• Maintenance (Maintain multiple environments including Dev, Pre-Prod and Production under change control)
• Performance (perform Jira server monitoring, security compliance and new enhancements)
• Debugging (required to troubleshoot and resolve related technical and non-technical problems, including vendor interaction)
• Documentation (required to create/modify manuals for end-users, system administrators and support staff)
• On-going support (required to identifying opportunities for improving support services, undertaking preliminary research on process improvements and procedures, and proposing ways in which they can be implemented)
• Collaborating (required to collaborate with client groups and other IT support elements to promote exchange of information and to work together towards joint solutions)

• Troubleshooting Skills (required to review and analyze repeat application problems and devising long term solutions to prevent their reoccurrence)

Must Have Skills:

• Experience troubleshooting applications running in a Linux Environment
• Experience troubleshooting issues related to networking, load balancing, firewalls and proxies.
• Experience troubleshooting web application issues (browser issues, slowness, HTIP errors, etc.)
• Familiarity with Web application security (CSRF,CORS,TLS, Injection, etc.)
• Experience providing technical support/ advice on enterprise systems and/or the underlying enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Experience in responding to and resolving IT incidents, troubleshooting problems and implementing changes on enterprise systems and/or the underlying enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Experience performing system administration tasks on enterprise systems and/or the underlying enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Experience planning, architecting, configuring, installing and supporting enterprise systems in an enterprise environment
• Experience with Tomcat and NGINX
• Experience configuring and maintaining application links between Jira and Confluence as well as other applications like Bamboo
• Familiarity with Database administration, and demonstrated competency in writing SQL queries
