Description
We are looking for a Scrum Master to support two Agile squads. Responsible for a development team, the Scrum Master will act as a facilitator, guiding cross-functional squads in applying Scrum framework principles, with strong knowledge of other Agile frameworks such as Kanban and XP.
As a Scrum Master, you will play a facilitator role with members of your tribe, helping guide them toward agility and supporting their communication with the Product Owner. You will be at the heart of a team whose mission is to transform and continuously improve the features of our policy management application.

Must Haves
- Comfortable with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with SOAP, REST APIs, automated testing, integration, and continuous delivery processes
- Knowledge of GitHub
- Bilingual
Responsibilities
- Act as a servant leader for the team and facilitate planning, team learning (reviews and retrospectives), and process adaptation to ensure high-quality teams and solutions.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, etc.).
- Remove impediments or guide the team in removing them, especially when they block completion of committed sprint work.
- Monitor and report on daily activities, including team velocity and sprint/delivery progress.
- Act as a mediator in conflicts between team members (focused on technical quality) and the Product Owner (focused on delivering more features).
- Serve as an expert in Agile methodologies and practices.
- Guide the team and organization on how to use Agile best practices and tailor processes to support the team.
- Coach and mentor teams to reach higher levels of performance, maturity, and autonomy.
- Facilitate communication, improve transparency, and promote information sharing.
- Support and educate the Product Owner, particularly regarding backlog health.
- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters.
- Participate in Scrum Master communities of practice.
- Work with directors and project managers to determine sprint priorities.
- Be capable of handling complex initiatives, managing difficult and conflict situations.
- Act as a driver of change at the departmental level by bringing new ideas and influencing stakeholders.
- Monitor and report Agile metrics (cycle time, lead time, velocity, etc.) that measure team effectiveness and efficiency.
