Description
Our client is undertaking a major SAP landscape upgrade to ensure performance, scalability, and long-term supportability of its enterprise systems. The selected SAP BASIS Administrator will play a critical role in managing, supporting, and upgrading Suncor’s SAP environments across S/4HANA and traditional NetWeaver platforms.
Location - Calgary
Work Mode - On site 5 days per week
Duration - 6 months
Key responsibilities
system monitoring, transport management, performance tuning, client/system copies, and background job management.
The role also covers database administration (HANA), patching, upgrades, and ensuring system security and availability.
Must Haves
Hands-on experience in SAP BASIS operations, troubleshooting, and coordination with functional/technical teams to maintain stable and secure system environments.
8+ years of experience in SAP BASIS administration across complex enterprise environments.
Proven hands-on experience with S/4HANA, SAP HANA DB, and NetWeaver platforms.
Strong knowledge of system upgrades, migrations, and patching in SAP environments.
