Senior QA Tester with Maximo testing experience required to support Maximo implementation project. (141257)

Our GTA based, Municipal Government Client requires the services of a Senior QA Tester with Maximo testing experience to support their Maximo implementation project.

ROLE:

The Software & Infrastructure Tester is responsible for:

• Performing the application Testing and Quality Assurance activities including System Integration Test, Regression Test and Stress/Load Test.
• Participating in planning and estimating the activities required to test the new solutions, enhanced applications and migrated tools
• Participating in the development of Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Scripts.
• Providing advice to business users for the development of Test Cases for User Acceptance Test.
• Executing the tests as required, performing issue tracking and resolution.

MUST HAVE:

• Clear understanding of Business Requirements, Statement of Work, and Test Strategies as they apply to projects.
• Solid understanding of the System Development Life Cycle and other methodologies
• 1 + years of hands-on experience in IBM Maximo testing across various implementations and upgrades.
• 3 + years QA experience with a strong background in test planning, execution, and validation within the Maximo Application Suite (MAS), with emphasis on functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including development, sustainment, program, and vendor stakeholders in Maximo environments.
• Familiar with GitLab-based version control and CI/CD practices in enterprise asset management systems.
• Solid experience in executing Systems Integration tests, analyzing the results and creating reports for Management as needed.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing methodologies and hands-on VB programming.
• Experience in testing/QA of web application solutions in a WebSphere / RedHat OpenShift environment preferred.
• Must have Experience using Automated Testing tools such as OpenText UFT, Loadrunner, and testing management tools ALM and Jira.
