Senior Project Manager to lead the Unified Model Integration (UMI) workstream within a Capital Markets transformation

Join a strategic program aimed at driving large-scale transformation following a major banking acquisition within the Capital Markets domain. This role leads the execution of the UMI initiative, ensuring future-ready business and technology interoperability across Risk, Finance, Treasury, and Operations. The position offers high visibility with executive leadership and ownership over translating strategic design into executable delivery plans. This engagement supports a major growth strategy within a tier-1 banking context.

Must Haves

  • 5-10 years in project management leading large-scale transformation in Capital Markets or Tier-1 Banking
  • Deep domain expertise across trade execution, clearing/settlement, collateral management, market/credit risk, and treasury operations
  • Strong familiarity with data architecture concepts including canonical models, authoritative sourcing, and integration patterns
  • Proven ability to convert strategic target-state blueprints into executable Statements of Work (SOWs) and phased delivery roadmaps
  • Exceptional executive presence and stakeholder communication skills with experience managing competing priorities across multiple business units

Nice to Have

  • Experience partnering with consulting firms or advisory partners on strategic program execution
  • Background in post-acquisition integration programs in financial institutions

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Unified Model Integration (UMI) initiative from conceptual validation through delivery execution
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Risk, Finance, Treasury, and Operations to refine target-state operating models
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive transition and execution roadmap
  • Oversee program governance and progress tracking to maintain alignment with executive priorities
  • Collaborate with consulting partners and internal technology leaders to ensure seamless delivery
  • Report portfolio health and drive timely decision-making across senior stakeholders
