Senior Project Manager to lead custom development and COTS initiatives for an insurance client

**Hybrid in Alberta**

Must Have's:

• 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager
• Experience leading complex custom development/COTS projects for enterprise clients
• Expert experience working on complex integration and release management work
• Demonstrated experience in vendor management, including engagement, oversight, and performance evaluation of third-party service providers.
• PMP certification
• Degree or Diploma in Business, IT or related

Responsibilities:

• Business Engagement - Work with various business units and other interested parties to understand the business objectives and requirements to ensure the project outcomes align with those expectations and deliver business benefits in a cost-effective manner.
• Planning and execution - define the overall project plans including the work breakdown structure (scope), resources, budget, schedule, and deliver against the approved plan.
• Financial management - Manage the project scope, schedule, and resources within the approved budget; monitor and track financials and address variances as appropriate.
• Risk and issue management - anticipate both project-specific and broader enterprise risks, develop mitigation strategies, and facilitate resolution of issues to lessen negative impacts to cost, schedule and quality.
• Organizational change management - work with our organizational change management team and impacted units to ensure processes and resources are defined to ensure business and IT operational teams are prepared to accept and adopt the solution
