Our energy and utilities client is seeking a Senior Product Owner (5+ years) to lead the planning, prioritization, and delivery of multiple digital products and platforms

The role plays a central leadership function in driving product outcomes and supporting enterprise-scale digital transformation. This is a one-year contract opportunity offering collaboration with cross-functional UX, development, QA, and business teams.

Must Haves

• 5+ years as a Product Owner or in product management roles leading digital product delivery
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple product backlogs and roadmaps concurrently
• Demonstrated experience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and maintaining product documentation
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery frameworks and product lifecycle management
• Technical diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice to Have

• Experience with enterprise or regulated environments
• Background in customer-facing digital products or ecommerce platforms
• Knowledge of web and mobile UI design and UX best practices
• Exposure to product analytics and performance measurement

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize multiple digital products and projects to align with business objectives
• Own and maintain product backlogs, ensuring prioritization based on business value and strategy
• Translate business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation
• Define and maintain product roadmaps with visibility of priorities, dependencies, and timelines
• Act as the key liaison between stakeholders and delivery teams across initiatives
• Lead agile delivery processes including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews
• Drive continuous improvement across delivery practices and product performance
