Description
Senior Platform Engineer - Databricks
Duration: 12 months (with possible extension)
Onsite Requirement: Hybrid - 2 days/week onsite in Toronto OR Montreal, QC
Must-Have:
- 5+ years in platform administration
- Strong experience administering and optimizing and Databricks
- Multi-Tenant environment support experience
Nice to have:
- Snowflake
- Experience with SageMaker or Bedrock is a strong asset
Responsibilities:
- Administer and optimize Databricks for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability
- Lead debugging, root cause analysis, and resolution planning for platform issues
- Define and implement infrastructure and CI/CD automation
- Develop technical solutions and lead proof-of-concepts
- Ensure deployment consistency across environments with focus on security and scalability
- Troubleshoot complex monitoring issues and handle escalations
- Drive automation for deployments and platform operations
