Description
Our public sector client requires a Reliability cleared Senior Oracle DBA to assist with the modernization of a client's database infrastructure to ensure fast and efficient cloud provisioning as well as improving its application delivery to better serve business transformation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Oracle Enterprise Manager Administration tasks on new projects and in operations.
- Perform necessary optimizations to the database environment.
- Configure and administer databases and databases servers.
- Configure and administer the Database backups.
- Provide guidance, advice and recommendations on project initiatives related to database environments.
Must have:
- Experience installing and configuring Oracle 11g or above
- Experience writing and tuning PL/SQL code
- Experience working in a Unix and Linux environment
- Experience using Simpana CommVault
