Our retail client is looking for a Senior Java Developer to upgrade applications and Wildfly servers to the latest Java version.

6 month contract to start, possible extension. Hybrid working model - 2 days a week mandatory onsite in Burnaby office.

Must Have Skills:

6+ years of experience as a Java Developer, with experience upgrading Java applications and/or Web Services from an older version to Java 17 or newer.
Experience with application servers such as Wildfly (upgrading from 1x to version 33)
Experience in relational databases such as MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle DB
Experience with version control tools such as Subversion (SVN) or GIT/GITHUB.
Experience in SSO (Single sign-on), federated security, or JSON Web Tokens.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular 2 or higher, React.js, and/or Node.js.
Experience with Bootstrap, Spring, and/or Hibernate development.
Experience in SOAP and/or (REST/RESTful) APIs.
