Senior Ivalua Configurator with SQL experience to work with a major financial services client- 14934


Location Address: Toronto/ Hybrid - onsite 3 days per week

Duration: Until No 28th, 2025 (Possibility of extension & conversion to FTE: possibility based on business needs and performance.)

Schedule Hours: 8am-4pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week


Story Behind the Need

  • Business group: Our business group recently implemented Ivalua, and we have a significant backlog of improvements and enhancements that need to be addressed. We are seeking a skilled Ivalua Configurator to help clean up this backlog and optimize the system.


Job Summary:

The Ivalua Configurator will be responsible for the configuration, customization, and optimization of the Ivalua platform. This hands-on role focuses on translating business requirements into Ivalua configurations.


Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and customize the Ivalua platform according to requirements.

• Collaborate with team members/internal clients to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Develop and maintain configuration documentation, test scripts.

• Provide technical guidance and expertise on best practices for using the Ivalua platform.

• Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure the Ivalua platform is operating effectively.

• Assist with data migration and integration tasks.


Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

1. Minimum of 4 years of experience in configuring and managing the Ivalua platform.

2. Advanced knowledge of SQL (writing and optimizing queries) and database management.

3. Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.


Soft Skills:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work effectively with remote teams and stakeholders across different geographic locations.

• Knowledge about procurement processes and procurement software solutions.


Nice-To-Have Skills:

1. Experience preparing process documentation and troubleshooting with operations team

2. Hold Ivalua Certified Configuration Specialist or equivalent certifications


Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
